How can a product influence the cause it stands for? Can It lead to a chain of events which help establish a service system which strengthens its existence?


How does a social design driven venture work?


What does the education of work related hazards in third world countries entail?


Can a product generate empathy for a problem which they don’t have physical exposure too?


Can a product connect the user to the manufacturer in a socially productive way?


What is the success of social ventures determined by? (performance measurement)


What are the hidden advantages of cooperative societies?


Do cooperatives eventually result in the greater good of the area they are located in?


Do cooperatives help to find a long term solution?


What is the impact of localizing production at the source of the raw material as well as at the retail source?


Localization needs to be supported by strong political economy. Would the concept be better fueled by a slightly more open economy such as that of developing countries versus that of developed countries?


Do international organizations such as the UN, global fund support NPO’s?


Can the tactility of a product be linked to the cause it stands for?


What is the concept of archetypes in the higher end market


How do new trends emerge in the higher end market?


Does a consistency in design languages or a basic form contribute to the success of a product in high end market?


What kind of capital outlay/ investment structure is required to maximize the potential of a non profit?


Does the umbrella of social implications of problem encompass all the other implications such as psychological problems etc?


How do you introduce a new concept such as respirators or introduce awareness of occupational hazards to an area which does not know of their existence and would be thus wary of them when introduced? How would you counteract a possible reaction?


Can awareness be a way of inculcating people in the social cooperative thus finding a long term solution to the problem?


What are the economic, social and brand drivers of my proposition? Are they feasible?


What is the period of time it would take for the impact to penatrate? When would we start the marketing, when would the product reach the stores and how soon will I be able to close the loop?


If I introduce education at the early stages to first create the cooperative thus to create the product, what reaction should I be prepared for? Versus perhaps having the first production run professionally and then raising the needed capital to fund employment?


How can I be persuasive about communication in both ends? On one side to make the person aware of the problem in their area and on the other the user aware of why they need to donate to the cause?


What are my implementation parameters? What are local norms which govern non profits? How do non profits in third world countries work? Are there certain quantities which need to be produced to be stocked in a high end store?
