hi,
ReplyDeletethese are great questions! I think that be examining this topic and improving your knowlege about how street musicians currently operate, you may uncover some interesting product ideas. There is no question that good buskers can really improve the public space, by adding live music all around us as we travel from one place to another. but, there are lots of problems with busking that make it illegal in many places. It is also probably not a viable long-term occupation; you don't make very much money (I am guessing), it is hard work, it can be dangerous, there's a lot of competition, etc.
The big question for you will be: who is the audience for your product? The buskers, people who enjoy watching street musicians, police who are responsible for maintaining public order, ect. Can you create a system that allows people on the street to become more involved with street musicians? Perhaps a way for the public to participate, to play along? Maybe something like Guitar Hero, but for outside.
