film about PSTD

A radio show about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder that discusses the history of this condition can be found here. While it has been called many things down through history (combat fatigue in the WW2, shell shock in WW1, and insanity or melancholia before that), there is no question that people who have experienced intense battles have affected in very serious and long-lasting ways. This interview discusses a new HBO film, called, Wartorn, that explains the history of this condition. I haven't seen it, but it looks very interesting, and I think that those students who are exploring products that address trauma expeienced by "wounded warriors" returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, who will have to be taken care of (at great expense to all of us) for the remainder of their lives. Any practical treatments that could improve life for these unfortunate victims of the military-industrial complex.
